ENGLISHnaturally Learning System: Course Overview
The ENGLISHnaturally Learning System is an audio based learning program. All the lessons are in the form of videos and MP3 audios. The reason: A language is best learned with your ears not your eyes !

Duration: 48 weeks
In this course every unit builds on the unit before it. It becomes progressively more difficult. All students start with the basic level and graduate to the next level after 8 week periods.
The ENGLISHnaturally Learning System has 6 levels. They are:

Part 2: Small Story, Vocabulary & Phrases
Part 3: Interactive Small Story
Part 4: Real English Conversation, Vocabulary & Phrases
Part 5: Real English Comprehension Check
Part 6: Different Angles Stories (units 3,6,8)
Part 7: Conclusion/Review

Part 1: Introduction
If students really want to make good progress, it’s very important for them to stay motivated.Motivation is one of the 5 powerful keys to speaking English fluently.
In the introduction I share with you some motivational quotes, proverbs and inspirational stories to help you stay motivated.
Part 2: Small Story, Vocabulary & Phrases
In this part I tell a short story and explain the meanings of some words and phrases.The same story is used in part 3, the Interactive Small Story. But before we do the interactive small story we need to understand the words and phrases and this is where we learn and make sure we know the words and phrases from the story. In other words we establish meaning first which important for the natural learning process.Transcripts are included to help you learn the new words and phrases. Transcripts are provided only to make it easier to establish meaning. Students should stop using transcripts for a unit as soon as possible and focus on listening.
Part 3: Interactive Small Story
In this part of the lesson I retell the small story and ask many questions about it. Here you need to listen carefully and take active part by answering the questions. This question and answer technique is very powerful and here students learn English grammar naturally through listening to English they understand and answering questions about it. There is also a lot of repetition, so students learn deeply.
Finally, you get to practice your pronunciation by repeating the story after me sentence by sentence.
Part 4: Real English Conversation & Commentary
In this part you practice listening to and understanding real English: the way it’s spoken by native speakers. Native speakers often speak fast and they use a lot of idioms and slang. An important reason why so many students have poor listening comprehension(understanding) is that they don’t know the many idioms and slang that native speakers use all the time. Most students learn from textbooks which don’t teach this very important part of the language.
If you really want to understand native speakers you must get used to their normal speaking speed and know the idioms and slang they often use. The clips of conversation are from interviews with people from different walks of life. As with the Interactive Small Story grammar is learned naturally.
Part 5: Real English Comprehension Check
In this part you can check how much of the conversation you understand. You’ll hear parts of the conversation again followed by questions you need to answer with long responses.Then listen to my answer and repeat. So, in this part you build your comprehension and practice pronunciation and intonation.
Part 6/7: Different Angles Stories
In English we use different tenses to show what time something happenes. This is a very important part of English and important for students to understand and use correctly. For example, we have simple present tense, past tense, future tense and so on.
The same story will be told 3 times, everytime from a different time angle. This way you’ll naturally begin to get a feeling for how different tenses are used and you’ll learn them naturally.
By listening to and repeating the same story told from different time angles you learn how to recognize and use verb tenses correctly.
Conclusion/Review
In this part I talk again about all the interesting people we met in the unit and things they talked about.I also share my own opinions. In the conclusion I use words and phrases from the unit so it’s also a chance for you to review and check your own progress.
